Our Love Story

Morné and Shannon found each other in the most unexpected place, social media. In 2020, they were both on their own weight-loss journeys, quietly admiring each other’s progress from afar. Little did they know those journeys would lead them straight to each other.

Eventually, Morné slid into Shannon’s Instagram DMs and pursued her relentlessly! After countless flames and compliments and very obvious interest, Shannon eventually couldn’t resist his charm.

Their first official meeting was a gym session, and from the moment they met in person, there was an undeniable connection.

By their second date, they were already completely and madly in love. What started with a few Instagram messages quickly turned into spending almost every moment together. Before they knew it, they had practically moved in together.

In 2022, they decided to start a family of their own. They knew they had so much love to give and dreamed of building a life together.Then, in 2023, their world became even more beautiful when their precious boy, Meeko-Leigh, was born. He brought a whole new kind of love into their lives and made their little family complete.

What began as two people admiring each other from behind a screen became a beautiful life filled with love, laughter and family.They’ve been incredibly happy ever since, proof that sometimes the best love stories really do begin with a simple DM… and a whole lot of flames
